26-52 Whytecliffe Road South & Purley Station Car Park

Regent Land & Developments, in partnership with V Fund and RAA Ventures Ltd, are delighted to confirm that a detailed planning application has been submitted to Croydon Council for a new residential development on Whytecliffe Road South.

The proposed scheme will deliver a total of 247 residential units in four six-storey mansion blocks along Whytecliffe Road South. Over 30% of the units will be affordable housing. Each block contains two-storey set back floors plus an additional storey located to the rear. The development will also include public realm space and an upgraded future-proof public car park, serving Purley train station, with enhanced security and a more efficient layout.

Regent, working with Formation Architects and KG Creative Consultancy, used a detailed analysis of the site and local context, to ensure the scheme design fits the existing character of the area and delivers high quality housing, that will set the standard for future residential developments in and around Purley.

The redevelopment of an underutilised brownfield site into a new modern development is set to contribute towards the wider regeneration of the area and will enliven and strengthen the existing community. The site layout is designed to encourage interaction between neighbours in attractive communal spaces with high-quality landscaping and increased biodiversity.
