Regent Land is delighted to announce our recent success in winning the planning appeal for our proposed housing scheme at Station Road, Greenhithe.
Having received refusal at Dartford planning committee a year ago by one vote against a strong officer recommendation, we once again found ourselves caught up in a slow system, to reach this pragmatic outcome.
This one has been a challenge to say the least, but thanks to the efforts of all the design team and consultants – Q Square, Stephen Davy Peter Smith Architects, RGP Transport Planning and Cogent-Heritage – we got there in the end.
The plans include redevelopment of an underused site into a new residential development, with 47 new one and two bedroom flats across three buildings. Each property will have its own dedicated car parking space, and the development will include detailed landscaping, with green roofs and extensive amenity space across the site.
The scheme will provide much-needed new housing in a desirable location, adjacent to Greenhithe Railway Station, with links to Bluewater Shopping Centre and Central London.
