The Triangle – planning approved

1546 Image 1 Full Colour The Triangle web 1

A high quality mixed-use Regent Land development of eight flats and commercial space in central Barking has received planning consent from the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham council.

The site at 9-10 The Triangle, off Tanner Street, is just eight minutes’ walk from both the Railway and Underground stations in Barking.

The new development will feature eight, one and two bedroom flats, plus over 370 m² of commercial floor space at ground level. All the apartments are self-contained with well-proportioned rooms, and are designed to comply with The London Plan.

The site currently has a number of single storey buildings infilling between the adjacent two storey properties. The proposal is to develop this gap site and introduce complementary new high quality residential accommodation, designed by Stephen Davy at Peter Smith Architects. Building work will start in 2017.
